As a convenience to workshop attendees, childcare is available during all workshop sessions (additional fees required – please stop by the registration table for more information) (beginning at 9 AM) and during worship services (beginning at 6:30 PM). Please do not send your children to childcare or to Kingdom Kidz World alone. Instead, to ensure their safety, please escort them to the proper area. Official sign-in requires the signature of a parent or guardian (no siblings, please).
Beginning Tuesday at 10 AM, expect to attend workshops that are designed to empower you for ministry as well as personally! The Holy Convocation planning committee has worked diligently with other R.O.C.K. churches to poll their members for topics that they desired to see addressed. These are the workshops that will be presented to you Tuesday – Friday. We encourage you to attend each workshop that is offered and be prepared to ask lots of questions of the well-trained, experienced presenters. In the evenings, come prepared to be blessed as we celebrate God through exuberant praise and worship and host national preaching powerhouse who will minister the Word of God to us! After service each evening, you can expect more fellowship as we all dine together at FD’s Famous Burgers & Chicago Style Wings in the Kingdom Plex.
During the day, the atmosphere of convocation is casual, so please feel free to wear jeans or other casual pants or skirts to the workshops and the fellowship events. Evening services are more formal; your normal church attire is encouraged and t-shirts and flip flops are strongly discouraged. Also, remember that Wednesday is T-shirt day, and we are asking all adults to wear to their HC 2021 T-shirt during Wednesday’s worship service and Thursday’s day-trip as a demonstration of our unity!
