Friday, Feb. 24th

Presenter: Apostle Dr. Dana Carson

The basic idea of five-fold ministry is that all of the gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4 are still active and necessary for proper governance of the church. Apostles are to govern, prophets to guide, evangelists gather, pastors guard, and teachers ground. The argument, then, is that without these gifts being exercised within the church then the church body will suffer. As the Covid-19 pandemic swept through our world, the perspective of the church and five-fold ministry shifted to a more individualistic and personal ability to lead yourself in things of God without the need of an overseer. This session will help you rediscover the meaning and purpose for leadership in the church and the need for equipping the saints for the work of ministry in our “new normal”. This general session is led by Conference Host Dr. Dana Carson.
